Undead vs. Orc: A new perspective

Being an undead player, I've came across all kinds of Orc players with various strategies; from tower rush and mass bat raiders to mass kodo beasts and even goblin shredders.

Orc is essentially quite a versatile race to play with, as opposed to undead players who seems to know one thing: destroyer destroyer destroyer. More than likely, all skilled Orc players ALREADY knows what you, the undead player are going to make; so here is a new strategy that I observed some time ago, it is created by one of the bestest undead player out there - Sweet Saint.

------

The essentials:

This strategy is crafted to go against a very typical orc harrass - grunts - raider strategy that brings us headaches.

The few things you will need to accomplish are the following:

1. A Death Knight and a Pit Lord as second hero.

the death knight serves all supportive purposes in the undead race, he has the ability to heal and his unholy aura will move the fat pit lord and the crypt fiends a lot faster.

2. Mass fiends

this strategy is created so that you can focus fire on the stupid grunts and raiders who will come surrounding your fiends, so you need a decent amount of fiends.

3. Banshee

banshee is the critical point to this strategy because of her skill - NOT POSSESS, but CURSE

yes curse, an auto-cast magic that will cause all enemy attacks to reduce to 66%, in another word, your entire army will grow one third once the entire enemy army is CURSED.

KEY POINT:

The key point to this strategy is that you will need a pit lord to further reduce enemy attack power by casting HOWL OF TERROR. This Area of Effect magic will reduce yet ANOTHER 1/3 of the enemy attack power, along with the curse, your army will now increase 2/3 in terms of health.

Given this point, your fiends will no longer die easy from the ensnare/surround of the Orcs, even a Tauren Chieftain's stomp won't do too much, since all the grunts and raiders will do is...MISS MISS MISS MISS MISS...you get the point.

However, this strategy requires precise timing and decent micro; if you are the type that moves fiends group by group one only ONE single fiend is being hit by 5 grunts, then I'd suggest you train your micro skill before using this strategy; since this strategy utilizes the power of Focus Fire to the max, you can NOT move fiends group by group, but one by one, to reach its effect.

Secondly, teching is quite important too; if you can not tech to banshee on time(you only need 3-4 of them) then you're still screwed, given that this strategy will ONLY work when the combination of Howl of Terror and Curse are in use.

So there you go kids, go try it out and have some fun defeating the stupid orcs in a different way!

MAKE SURE YOU UPGRADE THE FIENDS ATTACK, with the howl of terror and curse, you don't need armor that much.

Save the Warcraft III environment, say NO TO NOOBS

Alright here comes my official first post.

SAY NO TO NOOBS!

This post will be dedicated to all the gosu wannabes out there who actually have no clue what GOSU means. Instead, the only language they seem to be able to comprehend is Nooblish, in which all they blab about is how other people are noobs, nubs, newbs, or whatever.

What are noobs really? In a sense, we're all noobs, because by labeling someone a noob is essentially saying that this person is not proficient in certain area of expertise; aren't we all somehow inferior compared to the better ones in the game?

However, here we have a group of people who pose divine opinion of theirs and are consistent in calling others "NOOBS" with out any logical explanation. These losers are what really ruins my fun in playing games; especially when I am playing team games.

Characteristics of these TRUE NOOBS:

1. Witty(trying to)/Smartass comments:

These type of people LOVE the attention, it's almost as if they have this magical power to distort human emotions as they carefully construct a sentence that looks something like this:

"I am God, and God is me, I am good because God is good."

or

"I gave a dime to a ho"

or

"do you have a girlfriend?"

some even attempts to rhyme:

"masturbation is the key to satisfaction."

2. Talkative, Demanding

True noobs love to brag about things. They curse and swear when a sheep is blocking his hero; they panic when a footman is scouting his base and a noob will usually ping his base like 30 times JUST TO GET YOU TO teleport to his base.

They love to use these complicated terms to express their feelings:

"LOL" aka "ROFL"

"Fuck" or aka FUCK, FACK, FLACK, FLUCK, F...etc.

"Fag"

"Shit"

that's it.

They love to talk smack to opponents, but the problem persist and is quite similar to people driving on the freeway with a cellphone glued to his/her ear... well I suck at dong metaphors so I'll just put it this way: IF YOU CAN'T DRIVE WHILE TALKING ON THE PHONE, THEN DON'T TALK ON THE PHONE! just as if IF YOU CAN NOT FUNCTION YOUR BRAIN AND DO SIMPLE TASKS WHILE TYPING, THEN DON'T, JUST DON'T.

Usually what happens is the noob loves to talk smack but can't back it up because his brain is so small to do simple tasks, and these noobs usually ends up getting owned by others(probably noobs too.) then comes the most hated characteristics noobs have:

3. Irresponsible

Noobs LOVE to blame the loss to you. They simply love it because they have no other way to comprehend the loss. It is the only thing they will do upon every failure in their lives, it's simple, easy and convenient, why not just blame your partners? your friends? your family? your computers?

So given some of the crucial characteristics of noobs, you should have recognize what situation you're in when you encounter dialogs like these:

You: GG GL everyone
Noob: NO BG BL lol
Noob: I gave a dime
Noob: I gave a DIME TO A HO ROFL
Noob: LOL Fags.

...
..
.

beware of noobs.

The best way to treat a noob, or get rid of them:

After much consideration there is simply NO WAY you can change them nor get used to playing with these people, so the following suggestion is given:

1. When you see one just rape them in the game
2. Send virus to their comps in some way so they can finally STFU for some time
3. Kill them.

Anyway, I hope this guide had been helpful, and if you are reading this post and think that maybe you are a noob that I've just described, chances are you PROBABLY ARE.

If you actually think I am one, then word from ICECUBE:

"YOU BEST TO CHIGITY CHECK URSELF FO' U WRIGITY WRECK URSELF CUZ BIG DIGS UP YO MOUTH IS GON BE BAD FO UR HEALTH"

peace out.

Peace.

It's About TIME!

The last time I touched WCIII: TFT was two weeks ago and I was surprised by the overall lack of skills and dramatic increase of ignorant noobies on Battle.net. I am convinced that I need to start some education before the greatest game falls down.

A brief introduction of me and Warcraft. I started playing Warcraft 3 years ago when it was first released; I used to despise computer games because my brother would always stay up until 3am playing Starcraft; but then Warcraft III came out and when I saw the FROST WYRM of Undead, I was then hooked...till now.

It didn't take me long to become good, I have now a 6000+ games of solo and team experiences, I don't consider myself a great player, but I am decent. I study replays, go to forums and whatnot, winning to me is everything; I can't seem to enjoy the game with out kicking some ass...

Anyway, my battle net ID is JackyIsMe in US WEST server, feel free to message me and we can AT or something.

Now on to this page...

This page will be dedicated to my long time passion: Warcraft III: Reign of Chaos and Warcraft III expansion Pack: The Frozen Throne. Arguably one of the best online games EVER!

In this blog I will contribute as many insightful information regarding the game, strategy, news, and even secrets that I possess to all my fellow Wacraft Maniacs.

However, to start this fresh new page, I'd like to show you possibly one of the greatest game sequel that will ever to be produced: STARCRAFT II (yes it's real and it's coming, from Blizzard!!!!!!!!!)

"The long-awaited return of StarCraft has been rumored for years, and now is finally official -- Blizzard officially announced on May 19, 2007 the sequel to its incredible strategy title Starcraft. "

clips and trailers:

Titled: It's about time!

Real game first impressions (absolutely breath-taking... you gotta see this.)

Go check out more specifics via BLIZZARD.COM for the latest information on units and all that. I believe Protoss is already completed. CHECK IT OUT YO!
